Digital Designer

Then we have just the role for you. If you are a passionate and driven designer with a love of creating design that always keeps the user in mind then look no further. The individual that comes on board will work as part of a team of 3 other designers and report to the Design Director. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with clients and our in-house team of developers. Sounds good? If you meet the criteria outlined below then we want to hear from you.

£28K+ DOE

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• You must be self-motivated and work well as part of a team
• A strong understanding of user-centred design with skills in planning and structuring websites with users in mind (ecommerce experience would be a bonus)
• Clearly demonstrate a good knowledge of UX/UI design and building UI components
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience or willingness to learn to design in Sketch or Figma
• Excellent layout and typography skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Strong digital portfolio
• Ability to work closely with developers to test and ensure the best project outcomes

• Persuasive, able to sell work and ideas, and respond positively to feedback
• Calm under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Resilient and positive in difficult situations, with a can-do attitude
• Flexible and able to solve problems
• Super organised with the ability to juggle competing demands
• Capable of working in a multidisciplinary team and working effectively with other team members
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
