On working with Abstrakt

Tell us a little about your business and your role.

Aganto is one of the UK’s leading temporary building suppliers and has installed thousands of buildings across Great Britain. The variety of uses of the buildings, and the industry sectors we supply is vast, from warehouses and retail outlets to car workshops and gyms.

I joined Aganto in 2022 as the Marketing Manager with the responsibility for generating high quality leads using a wide variety of marketing channels. Digital is the main medium we use to drive enquiries and it became apparent, very early into my tenure, that the existing website was not working in the way required and I had a call with Abstrakt shortly afterwards.

You’ve been working with Abstrakt for a number of years, across project, sprint and retainer work. How would you describe your overall experience of working with our team?

I first worked with Abstrakt in 2016 and we have collaborated over a number of different websites, developments and functionality over that time. The output from your team has always been first class and when I got the approval to reimagine the Aganto website there was one agency I knew I could trust to deliver what was needed. Knowing the way you worked, how you got under the skin of the client and their industry and the results you produce, I never hesitated to introduce you to GL.

Do you feel that our team understands your needs and provides solutions that are aligned with your business (and role) goals?

Totally - the depth of the project kick off workshop meetings demonstrate that you want to learn all you can about the company, the sector, the competition before honing in on the brief. The time investment made in that initial scoping session is vital and provides a smooth transition to the next phase.

Are there any specifics in our offering (account/project management, strategy, UX , digital branding, SEO, development, etc), or even an individual team member’s support, that you particularly value?

It’s difficult to identify one area or one person that I value above others, it’s the all the different strengths your team have that make you so good. A special mention for Lauren Irwin though and the SEO work we have been doing with her since the launch of the website – her reporting and advice has proved invaluable in navigating a constantly evolving search engine landscape.

How would you describe your overall experience of working with our team?

I’ve always had a great time working with Abstakt – there are no weak links in the team and you’ve gone above and beyond on numerous occasions in the past. I see you not as a resource, but more an important extension of the marketing team.

Is there anything we could do better / more of to add more value or support you more fully?

Nothing that springs to mind!

On working with Craft CMS

We know you’ve worked with Craft for many years and are a Craft advocate. What do you love about it?

Simply it comes down to ease of use. I’ve used numerous CMSs in the past but my experience with Craft puts it well ahead of the alternatives. Others are clunkier, more difficult to use and often temperamental which is not the way I find Craft to be.

I’ve seen many people starting to use Craft with previous experience of Wordpress and, once they are used to the new system, fully agree that they have moved to a superior way of working with websites.

What would you say to someone considering working with Abstrakt?

There are a myriad of agencies out there but Abstrakt are by far the best I have worked with. They build robust, scalable and great looking websites with support services that take it to the next level.
